Biographical Sketches of Principal Bluestocking Women
For Cate, it all started with the proverbial question “What do Scotsmen wear under their kilts?” She promises to reveal all when she learns the answer - firsthand. When she’s not trying to peer up some lucky lad’s plaid, she obsesses about brooding bloodsuckers and singing glee club teens. Which explains why she’s still a teenager at heart. Currently, Elizabethan England is the time period Cate identifies most with – she blames it on that guy. What’s-his-name? Oh yeah, Shakespeare. She also loves the Arthurian as well as the Robin Hood Legends, and she is working on a Young Adult story that weaves elements of Camelot and Celtic folklore in with modern angsty teenagers.
Debora believes a girl can never have too much chocolate, coffee or time to indulge in fantasies that include scantily clad men with swords! Currently her mind wanders through the 9th and 10th centuries where her characters are easier to control than her three kids.
Residing here under the moniker Duchess of Made Men. Emma writes paranormal & historical romance. Her mind is a cross between a sociopath, Rhett Butler & the Mafia. Emma is the author of the Black Rose series & is currently working on a historical romance.
Felicia enjoys writing, fashion and obsessing over dead men with questionable characters. She is aware of spending far too much time making playlists and she harbors a secret infatuation with crocheting. She has a special love for Renaissance Italy and the 18th century, but she's really not that picky. If you insist, she'll have a glass of champagne and a bag of chips.
Janne’s life would certainly be more interesting if it was filled with passionate liaisons, mysterious strangers, and dramatic confrontations, but she plays it safe and gets most of the excitement she craves in the stories she reads and writes. Her current favorite time period and location is 18th and 19th century New England. When not writing or reading, she is cooking, gardening, walking her dog on the beach, chatting with her darling husband, or tapping into her muse with the aid of coffee and chocolate..
